JIM TRESSEL.
Hall of Fame coach JIM TRESSEL is a legendary figure in Ohio college football, leading Youngstown State University to four national championships and Ohio State University to a BCS national title in 2002. After his coaching career, Tressel consulted for the Indianapolis Colts before transitioning to academia. He served as Vice President of Strategic Engagement at the University of Akron and later became President of Youngstown State University, where he prioritized initiatives that improved student retention and graduation rates, understanding the importance of accessibility and affordability in higher education.
MARK DANTONIO.
Elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 2024, MARK DANTONIO is among Michigan State University’s most successful coaches. He transformed the Spartans into a national powerhouse, securing three Big Ten Championships. In 2016, Dantonio received the prestigious Gene Stallings Award for his coaching and community service, and in 2015, he was a finalist for the Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year Award, honoring his on-field success and commitment to academic excellence. Before his tenure at MSU, Dantonio spent five years as defensive coordinator under Jim Tressel at Youngstown State University.
